
The aim of this project is to propose, and design a simple renewable energy supply chain for people living in rural areas in West Africa. The project seeks to rely on technological and academic asset of participants to innovatively connect the renewable energy products to the people at a cheap cost in order to reduce poverty and create jobs at the same time in West Africa.
The project seeks to combine technological ideas and social entrepreneurial proposals to solve difficult human problems. Students from all disciplines who are interested or are knowledgeable in renewable energy and African development are welcome to join this project. The project will examine rural renewable energy projects undertaken by ordinary citizens as well as smaller organizations in West African countries and build a supply chain entrepreneurial business idea on it.
