My name is Dianka Diaby from the Republic of Guinea (West Africa). A large majority of local initiatives fail in Africa; and a great of numbers of those that survive remain informal or subsistence initiatives. Yet, none of those outcomes enable populations to rise and remain above the poverty line. I decided to create Afrique Capable (or Capable Africa) to challenge those less-than-optimal outcomes by providing various types of sustained hands-on support, to shake up systems that sustain subsistence activities and the informal sector while creating environments that lead to better outcomes, and to pay more respect to the low income Africans by expecting quality outputs from their efforts.
This is will be piloted in Guinea.
Hi Dianka, Africa is capable, in part is because of people like you, with your vision. Looking forward to see your progress and enjoy SEMA this year!
I am looking forward to seeing it :)
Thank you! We have acquired the domain name and are currently working to get the site up and running. I will post back on here as soon as it goes up.
Welcome to the FORUM Dianka. :) Is there any website for Afrique Capable to know more about the intiaitive?
