During the past 10-15 years people quickly moved from personal connections to chatrooms and long distance friendships with others they never met in person before. This phenomenon started to relocate their personal communication into chat services and even the planning of community development events into different platforms such as this forum.
After Covid-19 hit the world the online presence of the youth started to grow even further with social workers, teachers, youth workers, and their mentors of all kind joined them with their already existing online personas. Yet the ways to reach out for our target group wasn’t really flashed out. Schools started their online education agenda with different knowledge and resources, for different kinds of kids with different knowledge and availability to technology. Youth workers jumped on Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and Tiktok to reach out for the kids they worked with before the pandemic.
With the virus in different stages around Europe it’s still important to work with the youth in the places where they are the easiest to reach. We are looking for partners to develop and maintain a widespread platform where youth work professionals and volunteers of all sorts can reach out to help. The platform should be...
easy to reach with any device with internet connection;
anonim for its users;
fun to use for every bypasser;
up-to-date with information and online trends;
a platform that provides a safe place for the target group;
quick at responses;
provides professional consultation for its users.
We are open to collaboration, our ideas about the platform aren't engraved to stone, that's why we didn't even choose a name for it yet. Come and work with us!
We are inviting NGOs and service providers in the EU to plan and implement the rest of it together with the oldest youth affairs think tank the Hungarian Association of Youth Service Providers - ISZOSZ.
Contact us in the forum or via email: ka2@iszosz.org

Sounds exciting, @Elek I hope you will find the youth partners :)
