“ Antimmos” A team of 2 young boys refugees living in the Rwamwanja camp, identified a high rate of malaria among refugees children in the Rwamwanja camp. The team is aiming to provide a eucalyptus mosquito repellent oil that prevents mosquito bites.
“Healthy mother'', a team of 2 ladies, identified a challenge of malnutrition among pregnant women in the Rwamwanja camp. The team is aiming at providing a nutritious and affordable porridge flour that keeps pregnant women nutritious during and after pregnancy.
“Hope for refugees” is is a team of 3 young refugees,2 ladies, and 1 boy, aiming to eradicate unemployment among fellow refugee youth by equipping them with vocation skills that support refugee ladies to create or find small jobs. Therefore, providing basic English
“Eco waste” a team of 2 scholars, 1 lady, and 1 boy came together to start Eco waste aiming to operate as a closed-loop recycling system and will start with community members depositing their plastic waste to the ECO collection stations in return for payment. The plastic waste will be then made into one of three products: plastic sand composite used for construction materials that are stronger, lighter, and cheaper than concrete. Therefore, make affordable, eco-friendly, durable buckets and baskets fabric products to create jobs for young women and unemployed youth while promoting innovative mindsets and protecting our environment from carbon emissions.
At YINNOH scholars are matched with mentors and keep testing ideas and making mistakes until they become social change-makers and living with their own social ventures created thus creating their own jobs and solving the shared pain in their communities.
YINNOH we are envisioning creating a world where refugees and disadvantaged youths are self-actualized and economic actors who fully contribute to the communities, they live in.

Deliverables
Developing a word press website
Update website content, create new web pages and forms
Identify key issues with the current website and fix them
Suggest improvement based on an understanding of the organization’s activities, values, and needs
Work with staff to ensure they are able to use the new setup and continue to update independently after the updates have been completed
Review and improve SEO
Requirements
Minimum of 1-year’ work experience in WordPress website design
Working knowledge of necessary software
Good command of written and spoken English
Knowledge of web marketing and SEO
Supportive documentation

Copy of relevant qualifications
Portfolio with web graphic design samples
Personal qualities and attitudes to be successful in the project

This volunteer position will place you with a legally registered, purpose-driven refugee lead organization -based education and youth-empowerment non-profit organization. In the fight against unemployment, lack of employable skills, lack of job opportunities and lack of opportunities that can support local youth and young refugees develop their talents, including the language barrier, YINNOH aims to empower local youth and refugees in Uganda to become social entrepreneurs, discover and unleash their own potential and career opportunities by creating their own social enterprises that propel them towards self-reliance and the community that hosts them.
