SEIP IRELAND

SEIP is a remote incubation program that supports social entrepreneurs on their journey from planning to implementation.

 

The initiative was established by Zsolt Bugarszki, associate professor of Tallinn University, head of the Social Entrepreneurship MA program.

​

SEIP is a global support network of social entrepreneurs and impact oriented businesses.

​

SEIP Ireland offers Irish social entrepreneurs

 

  • an international forum to discuss ideas, shares issues with fellow SEs from across the world,

  • connect with proven SE mentors to help you,

  • events and opportunity to organise events with other international SEs

Head of SEIP Ireland is Pierce Dargan

​

Pierce is the founder and CEO of Equine MediRecord. Equine MediRecord develops, sells and maintains the first and only mobile application, website and database to allow for the digital recording of equine welfare regulatory documentation in the Equine industry. He co-founded and is non-executive Chairman of a non profit organisation, Secret Street Tours, training people affected by homelessness to be tour guides of their local areas. This helps them develop skills while giving some of the most vulnerable people in society a platform to tell their story. Pierce was named in Ireland’s 30 under 30 business people and is a World Economic Forum Global Shaper. Ex-PRO North America Rugby Player.

Lizzy Hayashida

Lizzy is the Co-founder and CEO of Change Donations. Prior to Change Donations, Lizzy spent 8 years working with startups in the retail and fin-tech space, in both San Francisco and New York. She was an early employee of Milo.com (acquired by eBay) and went on to launch the first same-day delivery pilot, eBay Now. Lizzy left eBay to join early-stage Y Combinator startup, Shoptiques, before joining Affirm, where she launched the first in-store virtual debit card. Lizzy earned a bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and an MBA from Trinity College Dublin.
