Hello everyone,
This week I am going to deliver 3 days online workshops through Zoom.
I have already identified my topics and now I am working on them.
This time the topics are :
1.Mindset & how it affects on our lives
2."I am valuable" (This workshop will be delivered by professional psycologist from Baku)
3. Dream Map.
Right now my challenge is about the last topic "Dream map".
I need to get some ideas how can I design this workshop online.
If you have some experience about this topic, or if you have some materials please feel free to share with me.
Thank you very much!~~
Can’t wait to hear!!!
I am eager to read your experience with the second turn of workshops :)
Tomorrow is going to be our last day. :) And they are already feeling emotional about it. :) After the workshop I will send to them survey for the feedback.
The next session will be in July.
After tomorrow I will share my experience what I learned this time. :)
Did you take some photos of what the girls co-created with you? For "Dream it", "Map it" and "Play it", it is really nice that you give them names, and formalise it like a 'mini-workshop' series :) Bite-size is fantastic, easy to remember. I liked that you've 'gamified' it, since your persona are youths, it is a great way to engage them. Did you make a little survey (like a scale of 1-10 for example) asking how they rate the workshops? or which segment they like most, @Nargiz? :) I'm very glad to hear that you've completed this 3 days with so much enthusiasm and you've used Visualisation!
Dear @Zsolt Bugarszki and @Jodee thank you very much for your advices. After talking to @Jodee I researched a bit more and I understood that this workshop should be activity based rather than me talking and showing some presentation to them. So I decided I will divide the workshop into the 3 steps (I used some materials and did some changes made them fit with my auditorium).
The first step will be called "Dream it!" In this step girls will just write down any kinds of dreams they have.
The second part will be called " Map it". So here they will randomly choose one of their dream and starting to Map it in a visual way. They will use here Pintrest, Google for the pictures and collect some pictures.
The third part will be called "Play it". So at the last part they will be given a maze which they have to find a way to get out of it.
Coming out from there is almost impossible.
The importance of this part is to show them that when living your dream you will ALWAYS encounter surprises. But it does not mean that we have to give up, it means we need to find ways to overcome them and still make our dreams come ture.
I myself always used Dream map for a years and I will share my own experience with them at the end as well. :)
