SEIP NETHERLANDS

SEIP is a remote incubation program that supports social entrepreneurs on their journey from planning to implementation.

 

The initiative was established by Zsolt Bugarszki, associate professor of Tallinn University, head of the Social Entrepreneurship MA program.

SEIP is a global support network of social entrepreneurs and impact oriented businesses.

​

SEIP Netherlands offers Dutch social entrepreneurs

 

  • an international forum to discuss ideas, shares issues with fellow SEs from across the world,

  • connect with proven SE mentors to help you,

  • events and opportunity to organise events with other international SEs

Head of SEIP Netherlands is Dr Leendert de Bell

​

Dr. Leendert de Bell is professor of sustainable labor participation of refugees at University of Applied Sciences Utrecht and is academic staff member at Utrecht University Centre for Entrepreneurship, where he teaches on (social) entrepreneurship in various Master's programs. He holds a PhD in International Development Studies at Utrecht University and has extensive international experience in research, higher education, and international cooperation in Europe, Latin America and (East) Africa. His current research focuses on social entrepreneurship, with a particular focus on work-integration social enterprises (WISEs), entrepreneurial ecosystem development, in particular in emerging markets, and sustainable labor participation of refugees. He is available for (skills) mentoring, (guest) seminars and workshops, (international) consultancies and (multidisciplinary) research projects.

Sjoerd van der Maaden

​

Sjoerd van der Maaden is founder of Specialisterren, a well established IT company working with people with autism in the Netherlands. Sjoerd has been responsible for the start, growth to 50 staff. He is very experienced in the strategic positioning of the company, service delivery and customer engagement as a social enterprise with people with autism in the IT domain.

​

Sjoerd is not available for generic questions regarding setting up and running a social enterprise, he is available for questions regarding his aera's of expertise specifically for social enterprises working with people with autism.

Hein Masseling

​

Hein Masseling is Operations Director at Specialisterren, a well established IT company working with people with autism in the Netherlands. Hein has been responsible for the growth of the company from 20 to 50 staff between 2013 and 2020. He is very experienced in the operational aspects and service delivery of a social enterprise with people with autism in the IT domain.

​

Hein is also connected to the Dutch register of social enterprises and has a profound understanding of governance of social enterprises.

​

Hein is not available for generic questions regarding setting up and running a social enterprise, he is available for questions regarding the operational side, governance and customer service delivery of social enterprises in the IT domain.
