SEIP AFRICA seeks to positively influence potential participants who are interested in gaining knowledge in the field of social entrepreneurship or have an interest in launching a business with the intention of having a positive impact in their community by addressing a social, and/or environmental issue with their innovative business ideas.
This is a 12 weeks online incubation program where participants will receive support from mentors of SEIP, offering structured review and mentoring to implement their innovative idea using relevant material and resources.
PROGRAM DETAILS:
Program duration: April 1 – June 24th, 2023
Language of instruction: English
Registration fee: 15 euros per individual/team (You can register for the program as an individual or with a team of 5 max.)
Please note that registration includes filling in the registration form and payment of 15 euros per individual/team. This requirement must be met before the 31st of March to qualify.

PROGRAM PLAN:
A. Introductory phase (2 weeks, 3 April - 17th April 2023):
A week each to finalize each course and an hour-and-a-half online session on a Saturday every two weeks.

The first 1,5 hours online session will take place on 22 April 2023
B. Research phase ( 4 weeks, 24 April - 22 May):
2 weeks each to finalize each course and an hour-and-a-half online session on a Saturday every two weeks.
Research your users' needs - Empathize
Develop a user persona
The second and third online sessions: 6 May 2023 and 27th May 2023 respectively.
C. Development of your business model ( 4 weeks, 27 May - 24 June 2023):
Participants will dive deep into creating and finalizing the business model for their respective innovative ideas.
The Fourth 1,5-hour online session: 17 June 2023
D. Pitching Day - 26th of June.
At the end of the program, each participant or representative of a team will present their business plan based on the CANVAS model with a pitch of a maximum of 7 minutes.
All ideas will be evaluated by a panel of judges, including SEIP mentors and the founder of the Social Entrepreneurship Program (SEIP), Mr. Zsolt Bugarszki, Ph.D. who has experience in leadership of development projects in the field of social innovation, sustainability, and social entrepreneurship.
The top 3 ideas will be invited to join SEIP's acceleration Program where you will be able to prove your growth potential and be (impact) investor ready.
All participants who complete the online incubation program will receive a digital certificate from SEIP.
